Hope Worship – November 5, 2023
On this All Saints Weekend, our readings from Revelation 7 and Matthew 5 give us the opportunity to consider what it means truly to be blessed by providing us both the description of God’s people in the present and the vision of God’s people when all has been accomplished. The multitude before the throne of God lives in the victory that Jesus has won for them after following Him in this life and participating in His sufferings. The saints experience by faith in this life and by sight in the age to come the truth of Psalm 16:11: “You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Today’s message is “The Blessed Ones,” based on Revelation 7:9-17 and Matthew 5:1-12.
