The King’s Invitation

Scripture: Matthew 22:1-4

Jesus describes the kingdom of heaven as a wedding feast prepared by a king for his son. The picture is one of abundance, joy, and welcome. The King of heaven is not reluctant to have us near Him. He invites us to share in the joy and life of His Son, Jesus.

God’s invitation is far greater than any earthly honor we could receive. He calls us into His presence, into His love, and into the life He gives through Christ. Today, pause long enough to hear that invitation again: God wants you with Him.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting me into Your joy through Your Son, Jesus. Help me recognize the greatness of Your invitation and receive it with gratitude. Amen.

What would change today if you consciously treated God’s invitation into His presence as one of the most important things in your life?
