From Him, Through Him, To Him

Scripture: Romans 11:33–36

Paul ends Romans 11 (and leads us into Romans 12) by stepping back in awe: God’s wisdom and knowledge are deeper than we can comprehend, and His ways are beyond our ability to fully understand. The story is bigger than us. We cannot see everything God is doing, but we can trust the God who is doing it.

That is good news. Our calling to live differently, serve others, use our gifts, and participate in God’s mission does not rest on our ability to control the outcome. “From Him and through Him and to Him are all things.” Everything begins with God, everything is sustained by God, and everything ultimately points back to God’s glory. We are invited to be part of something huge—not because we are so great, but because the God who has called us is.

Prayer:
Almighty God, I praise You because Your wisdom and ways are greater than mine. Thank You for inviting me into what You are doing through Jesus. Help me trust You when I cannot see the whole picture, faithfully use what You have given me, and live for Your glory. Amen.
