A Life of Worship

Scripture: Romans 12:1

Paul describes giving our bodies to God as a “living and holy sacrifice.” Worship, then, is not limited to what happens in a church building. The whole of our lives can become an offering to God. Our work, conversations, relationships, responsibilities, and choices can all become ways of responding to His mercy.

This changes the way we see ordinary life. We don’t simply live for ourselves or for our own comfort. Because God has given us new life in Christ, we can give ourselves to His purposes. A faithful conversation, patient response, act of service, or quiet sacrifice may seem small, but it can be an expression of worship when it flows from gratitude for God’s grace.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your mercy toward me in Jesus. Help me see every part of my life as an opportunity to worship You. Take my time, abilities, relationships, and responsibilities and use them for Your good purposes. Amen.

Application Question:
What ordinary part of your day could you intentionally approach today as an act of worship to God?
