Reflection

Every day begins somewhere. Sometimes it begins with a racing mind, a long to-do list, worries about family, work, health, or the future. Other mornings begin with excitement or anticipation. Whatever emotions greet us when we wake, God invites us to begin somewhere deeper than our circumstances.

Before anything else is true today, this is true: God is for you in Jesus Christ. Because Jesus lived, died, and rose again for you, your standing with God has already been settled. You do not begin the day trying to earn His approval or wondering whether He loves you enough. You begin as His forgiven child. Every challenge you face today comes after that glorious reality—not before it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that my day begins with Your grace rather than my performance. Help me remember that because of Jesus, You are for me. Let that truth shape every thought, conversation, and decision today. Amen.
