Free Indeed, a Beloved Child of God
Scripture: Romans 8:14–17, 31–39
The freedom Jesus gives is more than release from a single mistake or difficult season. In Christ, we are welcomed into God’s family. We are beloved children, held by a love that does not depend on our performance and cannot be undone by the struggles we face. We may still experience fear, weakness, and temptation, but these do not have the final word about who we are.
Jesus continues to speak His truth and promises to us. As we remain in His Word, we are reminded that our hope rests in His finished work, not in our ability to hold everything together. We can meet the coming week with confidence—not because life will always be easy, but because we belong to Christ and He will not abandon us.
Prayer: Father, thank You for making me Your beloved child through Jesus. Keep me rooted in Your promises, and help me live in the freedom and confidence of Your love. Amen.
Application question: What challenge this coming week could you face differently if you remembered that you belong to Christ and are held by His love?
