Trusting God When Change Is Hard
Scripture: Matthew 11:28–30
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Sometimes we recognize that something in our lives needs to change, but changing feels too difficult. We may be afraid of what others will think. We may worry about losing influence or reputation. We may simply be comfortable with the way things have always been, even when that way is not healthy or faithful.
Jesus reminds us that we do not have to make these changes by our own strength. He invites us to come to Him. His way forward is not about proving ourselves or becoming strong enough on our own. It is about receiving His help and trusting His strength.
Prayer:
Jesus, when change feels difficult, help me trust You rather than cling to what is familiar. Give me courage to follow You and confidence that Your strength is enough for me. Amen.
Application:
What change are you tempted to avoid because it feels too difficult, costly, or uncomfortable?
