The Ultimate Win-Win

Scripture: Philippians 1:21

Reflection:
Paul’s words bring the whole passage together: “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” While we live, Christ gives us opportunities to love and serve. When our earthly life ends, Christ welcomes us into His presence. And beyond death is the final hope: resurrection and life in a creation fully set free from sin, pain, sadness, and evil.

This does not mean every day will feel like a victory. Some days will be heavy. Some seasons will stretch us deeply. But our identity remains secure: we belong to Jesus. When we wake up, we belong to Him. When we struggle through the day, we belong to Him. When we lay our heads down at night, we belong to Him. He has us, He is with us now, and we will be with Him forever. That is the ultimate win-win.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You that I belong to You. Give me faith to trust Your presence today and hope for the day when I will be with You forever. Help me live each day as Your servant and rejoice in the hope You have given me. Amen.
