Your Gifts Matter

Scripture: Romans 12:6–8

God gives His people different gifts, and Paul makes clear that every gift has a purpose. Some teach. Some lead. Some encourage. Some serve in ways that may receive little recognition. The differences do not make one person more valuable than another. Together, these gifts become instruments through which God cares for His people and advances His purposes.

This means your gifts matter. You do not need someone else’s abilities to make a meaningful contribution. A small act of service, a word of encouragement, faithful leadership, careful teaching, generous giving, or practical help can become part of something far greater than we can see. God delights to work through ordinary people who offer what He has given them.

Prayer:
Gracious God, thank You for the gifts You have given me. Keep me from comparing myself with others or thinking that my contribution is insignificant. Show me how I can use what You have entrusted to me to serve others and glorify You. Amen.
